5 things you may not know about NCF Rocky Mountains

National Christian Foundation has been serving givers across the country since 1982, and we’ve had a team here in the Rocky Mountain region since 2012. This month, I wanted to share some things you might not know about our team and what we offer and why we are so honored to partner with you in your communities. Thank you for helping us in our mission to mobilize resources by inspiring biblical generosity!

1. Our team covers four states

While our office is situated in the Denver tech center, we support givers in Montana, Wyoming, Utah, and Colorado. Inherent to our Christian faith is the concept of building community with other believers, and we use this principle to guide us in our local outreach by traveling within these states and hosting events to gather with like-minded people.

We regularly update our events calendar with opportunities for givers, advisors, charity leaders, and others interested in learning about biblical generosity. We hope you’ll join us for an upcoming opportunity!

2. We have different passions

Our NCF Rockies team members have a passion for generosity. So much so, that we spend our livelihoods sharing what we know and helping others learn from our mistakes.opens in a new tab While we all share that passion, we each support different causes:

I care greatly about discipleship, and love to see disciples being made, trained, and equipped for effective ministry. Parker Samelson, our Vice President, has a heart for international youth ministry and poverty alleviation. He has enjoyed supporting groups like Young Life and HOPE International. Parker has also passionately supported the burgeoning impact investing movement.

Our Director of Giver Services, Jami Hood, loves to support her local church and international missions, having worked as a missionary overseas for 11 years. Finally, Brielle Crowell, our Administrative Coordinator, is passionate about international missions, having been raised in Thailand as part of a missionary family.

3. We want to be part of your journey

One of my favorite things is to walk with a family so I can see when switch flips in their thinking, changing their perspective from “how do I steward my resources?” to “how do I steward God’s resources?” Our first focus is knowing the state of your heart toward your finances, so we want to arm you with the resources and community you need to continue building your treasure in heaven. Additionally, we can help facilitate a personal connection to the charities and causes you care about so you can serve in the ways you’re called.

4. We can help you leave a legacy

Did you know that NCF has a simple guided process to help you create your succession plan? With a well-crafted succession plan, you make your wishes for the future of your Giving Fund known and allow your successors or favorite charities to share in your generosity, even after your lifetime. This plan takes the burden off of your loved ones and ensures that your legacy of generosity is continued.

5. Our team would like you to join our generosity champions

We have a group of passionate generosity champions on our Generosity Council who want to help to inspire generosity of givers and advisors. These people love the work of NCF and are ambassadors for us. We gather with them twice a year and we would love to invite you to consider joining the council.
